Self-cleaning slicker brush

A brush for the coats of dogs and cats. The head is a white and grey oval about 10.5 cm wide, covered with fine stainless steel pins with bent tips. The grey textured handle sits well in the hand; overall, the brush is about 19.5 cm long. The technique: short strokes in the direction of the coat, light, without pressing. Hair that is already loose stays caught between the pins, in a layer that builds up with each stroke. Then comes the move that gives the brush its name. Press the button at the back of the head: the pins retract and the collected hair slides off in one piece. Throw it away, release the button, and the brush is ready to carry on. No pulling hair out between the pins one by one. A hole at the end of the handle lets you hang it up, by the lead or the basket.
